
I thought it would help if I explain a little about how our group and how the whole thing works.
When we gather each month we have a business meeting, then tasting, then social time.
Each year, we choose someone to be in charge of "wine education". That person is responsible for picking out the theme of our tasting each month, and conducting the tasting.
There are 15 of us, so we are broken down into 3 wine groups. Each month one wine group is in charge of the wine. That way we aren't tasting way too many different wines.
There is a lot more to our group.. but those are the details about the wine-specific stuff. That should be enough to get us started, right?
We have our first meeting of 2010 tonight! We are learning about Bordeaux! Stay tuned to hear about what we tasted and what we thought.
